Dear Fosters,
This provides you with a comprehensive package of all the documentation needed during the foster to adoption process.
By utilizing these links, you are able to always access the most current version of the documents.
 
Foster Checklist
This checklist provides you with each step you need to complete during the foster-to-adopt process to ensure nothing is missed.
SOLR requires that this document be submitted to SOLR upon completion of adoption.

Email Templates to send to the new ADOPTER
These templates are used AFTER you have selected the Adopter for your foster dog.
Just copy and paste these templates into your email, fill the blanks, and send to your foster dog’s new Adopter.

Email Template #1: Foster Adoption Prep
Send to adopter so they can prepare for the final meeting and pickup of the dog.

This email template tells the adopter everything they need for the transfer of the dog including such things as leash, tags, check and how to be prepared to introduce the dog to cats (when applicable).
 

Email Template #2: Dog Info and Contact Info
(Use this in lieu of manually writing this information – some of which is repetitive – on the medical form document in the Foster Dog Folder.) Send this second email to the new adopter so they have all the details about their new dog. This email tells the adopter everything they need to know for caring for their new dog, such as what toys to buy, what the dog eats, behavioral issues that need to be worked on, etc.
